The journey of our project began 2020.
We wanted to give something back to the world and the easiest way to do so - help with the huge problem humanity is facing right now.
The problem we're solving is excessive littering. Inorganic waste does not contribute directly to greenhouse gas emissions, unless it is incinerated. However it does represent greenhouse gases emitted previously during the manufacturing process.
When people could see how much pollution there is, maybe they could be more concious about their own consumption.
We want to spread awareness about this topic.
We wanted the solution to be fun and enjoyable instead of a chore so that contributing to the health of our nature can be as easy as playing a game.
The app works as a giant collective map between everyone who has downloaded it. The main goal is to fill the whole map with green pins, witch indicate that the area, in witch the green pin stands, is cleaned of all litter. Red pins are for indicating unclean places. For every green pin you place, you will get points and if a certain number of points is achieved, you level up. Everyone can see other peoples' pins, your own appear in yellow.
The app can be used by everyone who wants to make their home and the world a cleaner place.
We plan to have the best user experience by not only counting on the users' own willingness to actively participate, but to make it as accessible as possible to all ages.
